Adding a Little Magic: How I Decorate with UV DTF Stickers

UV DTF stickers is short for Ultra Violet Direct to Film. They are a fun and durable way to add vibrant designs to all kinds of surfaces. Unlike regular stickers, these come with a built in adhesive layer and a clear transfer film, so you just peel, press, and rub to apply the design.

No need for heat or special tools! They're waterproof, scratch resistant, and stick beautifully to smooth surfaces like glass, plastic, ceramic, and more. It’s a quick and easy way to turn plain items into personalized pieces with a professional finish.

Making UV DTF cups

Applying UV DTF stickers looks easy… and it mostly is, but you definitely have to take your time to avoid bubbles or peeling edges. If you rush, it’s super easy for part of the sticker to not fully stick, or for an air bubble to sneak in and ruin the whole vibe. The trick is to press slowly from the center outward, smoothing as you go. As you’ll see in the video, I totally botched the lettering on the Chihuahua cup (oops), so now I have a new cup for myself. 😂 I never sell the ones that don’t turn out right, but it’s a good reminder that small businesses always have to factor in the cost of trial and error. And honestly, I think I mess up the most when I’m trying to record what I’m doing… go figure!

Just over here giving this blank journal a little personality, with the cutest “boop” UV DTF sticker ever. Instant "BOOP"ness
